§ 15-33. Responsibility of owner and occupant.

  • The owner and the occupant of the land and/or structure on which the violation is located, when not the same, shall be solitarily liable to the parish for the violations, unless the owner can prove that the violation occurred without his consent, expressed or implied. An owner who pays any violation fines, abatement costs, or administrative fees pursuant to this article, shall have the right to recover the same from the occupant.
