§ 17-2. Storing of junk, board fence required; penalty for violation of section.

(a)

Any vacant lot or property or any unused portion of any occupied lot or property used for the storage of junk shall be surrounded or enclosed by a board fence or other similar structure or enclosure which shall screen or obstruct such junk from public view, but in no event shall such fence or screen be less than eight feet in height.

(b)

The owner or lessee of the lot or property or the person using same for storage of junk shall be responsible for the construction of such fence or screen.

(c)

Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be punished in accordance with section 1-8.
