§ 20-3. Motorcycles; use restricted.

(a)

Definitions. "Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle designed to travel on not more than three wheels on the ground and shall include bicycles which are propelled by means of a motor or engine and mud bikes.

(b)

Operation of motorcycles on public sidewalks prohibited. The riding, operation, or use of motorcycles upon the public sidewalks of Wards 6 and 9 of St. Mary Parish, Louisiana is prohibited.

(c)

Penalties. Whosoever shall violate the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100.00 or imprisoned for a time not exceeding 30 days or both.
