§ 4-20. Removal of excreta.

  • If any part of a public street or square or the private property of a person other than the owner or keeper of a dog shall be soiled by the excreta of such animal whether such nuisance shall take place in the presence of the owner or keeper or not, the owner or keeper shall promptly remove such excreta and dispose of it in a sanitary manner. Failure to do so shall constitute a misdemeanor and any person adjudged guilty thereof shall be subject to the penalties of section 4-34.
