however, are not included in the parish's pay schedule as the Home Rule Charter has
special provisions for their salaries, or their salary is set by the Chief Administrative
Officer.
NOTE II: The job descriptions that are marked with (**) are listed in the pay schedule
as monthly starting salaries, as these employees never work on an hourly basis. They
are certain employees of the Coroner's Office and the Office of Homeland Security
and Emergency Preparedness.
NOTE III: The job descriptions that are utilized by Claire House and Fairview Treatment
Center are subject to their respective contracts, therefore, in some instances, their
pay may differ from the parish pay schedule.
The State of Louisiana mandates that the pay for the job descriptions utilized by
Claire House and Fairview Treatment Center stay within 5% of the Civil Service pay
schedule that is utilized by the State of Louisiana.
NOTE IV: The job descriptions that are marked with (***) are utilized by the Atchafalaya
Golf Course @ Idlewild, and are subject to jurisdiction of the Golf Course Commission;
therefore, in some instances, their pay may differ from the parish's pay schedule.
NOTE V: The job descriptions that are marked with (****) are not included in the parish's
pay schedule as the State of Louisiana mandates the Parish President of each respective
parish to establish an Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness; therefore,
this salary will be set by the parish president.
NOTE VI: The job descriptions that are marked with (*****) are job descriptions subject
to differential pay.
