§ 14-9. Hebert-Washington Memorial Park; rules and regulations.

(a)

The following rules and regulations shall apply to all visitors to the Hebert-Washington Memorial Park:

(1)

No motorized vehicles or bicycles of any type in the park.

(2)

No firearm of any type are permitted in the park.

(3)

No glass bottles or containers are permitted in the park.

(4)

No fires are permitted in the park except in barbecue pits.

(5)

No one shall remain in the park after 10:00 p.m.

(6)

No camping on park grounds is allowed.

(7)

No fighting or disturbances of any kind are permitted.

(8)

No profanity or abusive language is permitted.

(9)

All equipment and personal property brought into the park area is the responsibility of the owner.

(10)

All garbage or trash shall be placed in containers provided.

(11)

Pets must be leashed at all times.

(b)

Anyone who shall violate the provisions hereof shall be fined not more than $500.00 or imprisoned in the parish jail for not more than 30 days, or both.
