§ 20-27. Parking to block pedestrian traffic on sidewalk.

  • (a)

    No person shall stop, stand, or park a motor vehicle, motorcycle, road tractor, semitrailer, or other vehicular device within the parish in such a manner as to have the effect of blocking pedestrian traffic on any sidewalk contained with the parish.

    (b)

    Any person violating any provision of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00 or imprisoned for a term not exceeding 30 days, or both; such fine and imprisonment being within the discretion of the court.
